Description

Yeast lysis kit is designed for isolation of yeast genomic DNA using the MagnifiQ™ Genomic series kits and Genomic Mini Universal kit. Cell lysis is the first and crucial step in successful DNA isolation. The aim of lysis is to quickly and thoroughly break down cells in a sample to release nucleic acids into the lysate. Lyticase is an enzymatic mixture originating from Arthrobacter luteus that hydrolyses yeast cell wall glucan.
